This Christmas, 1,045 ECS clients received gifts thanks to the generosity of local Episcopal parishes and other organizations.

Thirty-two Episcopal parishes, 12 organizations, five schools and scores of individuals participated in the ECS Christmas Gift Program. Together, they collected gifts valued at over $94,000. Every current ECS client received a gift at Christmas and donations of gift cards ensured that others throughout the year will benefit as well.

Volunteers made the season special. Groups from the Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr and St. Mary’s Ardmore helped out at the Foster/Kinship Care party. Thirty youth and adult volunteers served food and coordinated activities.

St. Thomas’ Church, Whitemarsh hosted their annual Be an Angel party. The whole parish collected presents, cooked and served a festive meal, and organized activities for children and adults. The ECS FAST Housing participants appreciate the time and support St. Thomas’ provided.
