Through the Advocacy Action Network, you will be connected to a group of faith-based advocates. The Advocacy Action Network provides you with three things:

Information – learn more about upcoming events, local and national advocacy resources, and gain access to the latest perspectives by veteran advocates.

Connection – find support in a community of like-minded people seeking to put their faith into action.

Action – participate in ECS’ calls to action, including writing to legislators, attending public gatherings, and finding opportunities to volunteer in the community.

Our Reading List

At the Advocacy Action Network, we believe that in order to advocate, education comes first.

Check out our reading list that addresses topics surrounding our lead issue of racial equity. This comprehensive list includes resources for all ages and abilities. Look for upcoming reading lists on our other two lead issues: the Benefits Cliff and the Living Wage. To meet the demands of our ever-changing world, these lists will be updated periodically to make sure that you are up to date – learning from the leading voices fighting poverty and racism.

Our reading list is Member-created and Member-enriched. When you become a Member Advocate, please share with us
that you are reading!

Hear From Our Member Advocates

Advocacy Action Network members are just like you – people who want to put their faith into action. Periodically, we will feature reflections from our Members to inspire you and share the good work being done across the region.

Hear from Barbara, one of our Member Advocates, on how she plans to take action in anticipation of ECS’ upcoming Forum on Justice and Opportunity.
