Members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the world’s most renowned orchestras, performed classical scores of Beethoven during this celebratory tribute concert benefitting Episcopal Community Services and Musicopia.
Bookending the quartet and sextet performances will be striking percussion sounds produced by members of the Musicopia Drumlines program. Musicopia’s mission is to provide opportunities for children to experience, learn, perform, and appreciate music. The evening honored Beethoven’s 250th birthday and celebrate Episcopal Community Services’ sesquicentennial, plus 35 years of Community Outreach Partnership.
